I'll be the first to admit I've never read a single book on Agile or Business process (probably to my detriment). The result is I've had to figure things out the hard way as I've built Envy Labs into a successful consultancy. In this talk I'll swear about all of the stupid mistakes I've made and the lessons I've learned which have changed the way I think about doing programming and business. I'm hoping that attendees will walk away with a few new ideas which will help them start/improve their own consultancy.

Gregg Pollack works at Envy Labs, where he produces a podcast, creates educational screencasts, and develops websites with Rails. He also runs the Ruby Hero Awards, organizes the Orlando Ruby Users Group, and is also sometimes known as the Ruby on Rails guy in the "Rails vs" commercials or the "C" in MVC.
